Third Time's a Charm

Winning stuff is so exciting. (I think this is why people gamble -- and participate in contests and game shows). I remember when I was eight or nine I won a coloring contest. I think my prize was 25 or 30 dollars. It was so fun to win.

On Tuesday, Owen participated in his first radio contest. He didn't win. When he tried again yesterday he didn't win either. But today, when he called in with his answer, he got it right! He was pretty excited, and I was excited for him. He won an extra large pizza from Domino's. So, Monday night after a long day at school, I think we'll be ordering pizza.
